Sonia graduated from the College of Nursing in Vellore, India, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She pursued her master's degree in nursing education and adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed her specialization at Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia. She is a member of the Kay Gatins Society, a member of Sigma Theta Tau, and was awarded third rank general proficiency in her BSN program.

Sonia is an experienced internal medicine provider, and she welcomes patients ages 18 and up.
