About Mark Whitmer, PA-C
Mark A. Whitmer, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant seeing patients at Southeast Medical Group's Walnut Creek location in McDonough.
Mark was born and raised in Mendota, Illinois. He attended college at Valparaiso University (Valpo) in Indiana and graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, and psychology. Mark completed his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta.
Mark has been in practice for over 15 years and welcomes new patients ages four and older. As a family medicine practitioner, he treats patients with acute and chronic illnesses and is passionate about preventative medicine. Mark is a current member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA) and the American Academy of PAs (AAPA).
Mark loves traveling around the world in his spare time. He also enjoys sports, and some of his hobbies include playing golf and cycling.
