Lauren Accor, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant providing comprehensive primary care services at Woodstock Family Practice & Urgent Care.

Lauren was born in Matthews, North Carolina, and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte before pursuing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Morehouse School of Medicine. She has furthered her advanced education by earning a Doctor of Medical Science degree and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associates (NCCPA), maintaining active membership in the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).

At Woodstock Family Practice & Urgent Care, Lauren specializes in primary care services, such as chronic disease management, helping patients effectively manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Lauren delivers care for adult and senior patients ages 18 and older, with a focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships that support each patient's unique health goals.

Outside of medicine, Lauren leads an active and social lifestyle, enjoying hiking, the gym, pickleball, and participating in 5Ks. She has a love for the arts, regularly watching musicals and attending the theater, and she unwinds with jigsaw puzzles and exploring new restaurants with friends. Lauren grew up in a game-night family and is always ready for a little friendly competition, whether with her two sisters (she's the middle child!), her church group, or her colleagues. Her competitive spirit, curiosity, and love of community reflect the energy and genuine care she brings to every patient interaction.
