Jennifer Smith, FNP-C, is a compassionate nurse practitioner at Hometown Healthcare of Byron, where she is dedicated to providing personalized care for each of her patients. With over 20 years of nursing experience and over 10 years as a nurse practitioner, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Her diverse background spans critical care in the ICU and ER, pediatrics, flight nursing, and EMS/paramedic services, which allows her to approach patient care from a well-rounded perspective.

Jennifer’s philosophy is simple: her patients are not just charts; they are people. She believes in building strong, collaborative relationships with each patient to develop a tailored plan of care that improves both their quality of life and health outcomes. As a certified ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) instructor, as well as a PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified professional, Jennifer is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer is a proud wife to Dusty, a firefighter/paramedic for over 25 years, and a mother to three boys. Originally from Warner Robins, she and her family have made Peach County their home for the past 15 years. Jennifer is passionate about giving back to her community and looks forward to continuing to serve the families of Byron with the same care and dedication she has shown throughout her career.
