Erica "Katelyn" Connell, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing comprehensive primary care services at Southeast Medical Group.

Katelyn was born in Valdosta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Valdosta State University before pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

At Southeast Medical Group, Katelyn specializes in primary care, working with patients to develop personalized plans that address nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and sustainable health goals. She has a special medical interest in weight management and women's health services, including Pap smears, preventive screenings, and routine gynecological care. Katelyn delivers care for adult patients ages 18 and older, helping patients achieve and maintain optimal health through evidence-based treatment approaches.

Outside of practicing medicine, Katelyn maintains an active lifestyle through yoga, road cycling, and CrossFit, which fuel her passion for health and wellness. She loves cooking and exploring new restaurants, always seeking culinary inspiration and new flavors. Most importantly, Katelyn treasures spending time with her family and her 4-pound Teacup Poodle, Sunny, who brings joy and energy to her life.
