About Dr. Yerie Yang, MD
Dr. Yerie Yang, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician providing comprehensive primary care services at North Atlanta Primary Care in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Dr. Yang was born in Suwon, South Korea, and raised in the United States. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, before earning her Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University. She completed her residency training at Western Michigan University and is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Dr. Yang maintains active membership in the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG), the Korean American Medical Association (KAMA), and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
Dr. Yang specializes in primary care, providing comprehensive chronic care management for conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, as well as personalized weight management programs tailored to individual patient goals. She has a special medical interest in behavioral and mental health services, helping patients navigate conditions such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders.
