Dr. Tye B. Young is a board-certified internal medicine physician serving patients at Restore Health & Wellness in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Dr. Young is from Anniston, Alabama. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Jacksonville State University before completing his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine - Chattanooga Unit. In addition to his board certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), he is also trained in Wilderness Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Young’s approach to care emphasizes education, prevention, and a strong provider-patient relationship. He is dedicated to holistic, preventive health. He performs wellness exams, chronic disease management, and also offers in-office procedures such as skin biopsies and hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Young has over 20 years of experience in primary care and welcomes patients aged 15 and older.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Young is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys running, mountain biking, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, mountaineering, ice climbing, and fly fishing. He values time spent with his wife and their three adult children.
