Dr. Tharani Sundararajan, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician seeing patients at North Atlanta Primary Care in Cumming.

Originally from Coimbatore, India, Dr. Sundararajan earned her medical degree from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. She completed her internal medicine residency at Southern Illinois University, where she received a Certificate of Appreciation for Outstanding Patient Care in 2022 and was a runner-up for the Annual Pilla Research Award in 2021. She is a current member of the American College of Physicians.

Her clinical interests include hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, asthma, COPD, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and gastrointestinal issues. As an internist, she specializes in preventive care and the management of chronic conditions of adult patients (18 years and older). In addition to English, Dr. Sundararajan is fluent in Tamil.

Dr. Sundararajan enjoys vacations with her family, sightseeing, watching movies, and going to the gym. Most importantly of all, she cherishes time spent with her husband, son, and daughter.
