Dr. Poonam Ramani is a board-certified internal medicine physician and sees patients at Southeast Medical Group's Fayetteville and Stockbridge locations.

Dr. Ramani was born and raised in Mumbai, India. She earned her medical degree at Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India, affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. Dr. Ramani completed her medical training and internal medicine residency at Westlake Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Ramani has been in practice for more than 20 years and accepts new patients ages 15 and older. As an internal medicine physician, her primary medical interests include preventing, diagnosing, and treating internal diseases like heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes.

Dr. Ramani enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter. Her favorite hobby is cooking and trying out new recipes.
