Dr. James Allan McQuown, Jr., is a board-certified family medicine physician welcoming patients at Southeast Medical Group at Statesboro.

Dr. McQuown was born in Greenwood, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia, followed by his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. McQuown completed his family medicine residency at Self Regional Healthcare.

Dr. McQuown specializes in primary care and chronic disease management. He has over 30 years of experience treating adolescents, adults, and seniors. He provides additional services, including Botox for migraines, cryotherapy for skin lesions, skin biopsies, suturing, and Pap smears. Dr. McQuown is accepting new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.

Dr. McQuown loves the great outdoors and especially enjoys hiking, camping, and gardening. He likes to take on home improvement projects and, most of all, loves to spend time with his wife, Nancy, their grown children, and their grandchild.
