Dr. Asia Thomas, MD, is a board-certified internist providing comprehensive primary care and women's health services at Southeast Medical Group in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Dr. Thomas was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Tampa, Florida, and Metro Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Thomas earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Savannah State University before pursuing her Doctor of Medicine at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Memorial Health University Medical Center, where she was recognized as an Outstanding Internal Medicine Resident Physician Teacher and received the Excellence in Student Education Award from the Mercer University School of Medicine Class of 2025. Dr. Thomas maintains active membership in the American College of Physicians (ACP), reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of internal medicine and women's health practice.

Dr. Thomas provides chronic care management for conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, as well as personalized weight management programs and comprehensive women's health services, including Pap smears. Dr. Thomas delivers care for patients ages 18 and older, with a focus on preventive medicine and empowering patients to take an active role in their health and wellness.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Thomas leads an active lifestyle through swimming, bike riding, pickleball, and exploring local cuisine. She treasures spending quality time with her family, her two Bichon Frisés, and her friends, who bring joy and balance to her life.
