Ashley Simms, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing comprehensive primary care at Southeast Medical Group.

Ashley was born in Roswell, Georgia, and raised in Marietta and Canton, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Georgia College and State University before pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of North Georgia. She maintains active membership in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

At Southeast Medical Group, Ashley specializes in complete primary care, providing both acute and chronic care. She provides behavioral and mental health services, helping patients navigate conditions such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Ashley also provides chronic care management for conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, as well as personalized weight management programs. Ashley also has experience in cardiology, performs cryotherapy for skin lesion removal, and even provides select women's health services. She provides care for patients ages 10 and older and is conversational in Spanish.

Outside of medicine, Ashley loves traveling, outdoor activities, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. She treasures spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as her parents, three siblings, and their families.
