About Dr. Bowers
Dr. Bowers is originally from Blue Ridge, Georgia. He graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from the University of Georgia and attended medical school at The Medical College of Georgia on a faculty-sponsored academic scholarship. He completed his residency in family medicine at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Bowers is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Bowers leads his own practice, Bowers Family Medicine, in LaFayette, Georgia. Together with his team, they have been welcoming patients in the greater LaFayette area for several years.
Dr. Bowers Joins SEMG
Dr. Bowers and his team joined Southeast Medical Group in the late summer of 2024. Since becoming a part of the group, Bowers Family Medicine has gained shared knowledge and resources from its partner practices, as well as operations support.
Bowers Family Medicine is open Monday through Friday, with two board-certified primary care providers ready to care for LaFayette.
