About Pamela Hensley, FNP-BC
Pamela Hensley, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 24 years of experience in healthcare in North Georgia.
Pamela is a BSN graduate of the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, and she received her MS in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, where she graduated at the top of her class. She is also a member of the ADCES (Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists) professional organization.
She began her healthcare career at Murray Medical Center, serving in their Intensive Care Unit and Medical Surgical Unit as a staff nurse. She continued her clinical practice at Gordon Hospital in their Progressive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and their home health agency. She is well versed in occupational health, working for the City of Dalton, where she assisted in the city’s participation in the 10 City Challenge (a program conducted by the APhA Foundation showing that by encouraging employers to invest in helping their employees manage all chronic conditions, it would reduce health care costs and improve patient outcomes).
Pamela brings with her further experience in patient management, including home health, convenient care, geriatrics, and family practice.
