Deannaca was born in Florence, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama Birmingham where she attained a degree in Psychology and Nursing. She completed her medical studies at South University where she earned her master’s degree in Nursing and received her board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Deannaca sees patients aged 18 and older. Her medical interests include adult medicine, preventative care, and dermatology and she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

Deannaca loves to travel to different places and try new cuisines. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
