Shelby obtained her RN degree and later her Nurse Practitioner degree from Middle Georgia State University.

Shelby specializes in adult medicine as well as acute care. She has experience in critical care, working in various areas such as neurology, cardiology, surgical trauma, and more. She is passionate about weight loss as it plays a significant role in reducing co-morbidities that can eventually lead to long-term illnesses and preventable hospital stays. Shelby strives to meet every patient wherever he/she is in their journey and makes their weight loss journey as personalized as possible. She currently welcomes new patients.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and pets, as well as gardening and enjoying country living.
