Marie Candy, FNP-C, DNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner serving patients at North Atlanta Primary Care, Lawrenceville.
Marie was born in Haiti. She spent her formative years there until completing high school, after which she relocated to Massachusetts where she resided for 35 years. Marie completed her undergraduate studies at Salem State University, where she earned a Bachelor's in Nursing with a Minor in Business Administration. She continued her education at the University of Massachusetts, obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner and earning Palliative Care Certification. She then further pursued her academic ambitions, attending a Doctor in Nursing Practice program. In 2019, Marie made Georgia her new home.
Marie is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia, and the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society. Marie is fluent in French and Haitian Creole. She is committed to providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, with a special interest in managing chronic conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and situational depression. She welcomes patients aged 18 and older.
Marie finds joy in reading, spending quality time with family and friends, and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular gym sessions. She is a devoted wife and mother, surrounded by the support and love of her husband, children, and her sisters.
