Kristen was born in Calhoun, Georgia and raised in northern Virginia. She attended Emory University and Christopher Newport University, earning her BSN in cellular and molecular biology and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Emory’s Nell Hodgson School of Nursing. Kristen is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Kristen's medical interests encompass women's health, pediatrics, and preventive care. She is also fluent in Spanish and welcomes patients ages 2 years and older.

In her personal life, Kristen enjoys being a mother to her son, Atlas, and shares her adventures with her husband, Kevin. Her hobbies include snowboarding, camping, and traveling.
