Dr. Mahboob "Moby" A. Aamer, MD is a board-certified nephrologist serving patients at North Atlanta Primary Care, Alpharetta.
Dr. Aamer was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. He pursued his premedical degree from Aish Science College, Pakistan. Later, he completed his medical education at Dow Medical College in Karachi. After completing his medical education, Dr. Aamer pursued his internship at Easton Hospital in Pennsylvania, followed by an internal medicine residency at New Hanover Center affiliated with UNC in Wilmington, North Carolina. He then completed a fellowship in nephrology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He was Chief Resident at New Hanover, which is a testament to his expertise and dedication to his profession. Dr. Aamer is also a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Aamer has a keen interest in geriatric medicine, and he provides care for patients aged 15 and older. He is highly skilled in treating difficult-to-control hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, renal stone disease, electrolyte and fluid imbalances, and other nephrology-related conditions. Dr. Aamer has been in practice for over 25 years.
In his free time, Dr. Aamer enjoys hiking in the North Georgia mountains and volunteering for the American Red Cross. He loves to spend quality time with his family as much as he can.
